Thoughts on Fragrance and Fashion

Fragrance is fashion and like all other facets of fashion it has different styles, trends and treatments.

I always seek to create fragrance that is relative to the times but also can zig when the rest of the pack zags.

I don't ever want a fragrance that I create to be considered "me too" in the long line of bottles in a retail environment.

Too much of what gets created today are nothing more than a rehash of existing fragrances in the market with ever so slight modifications to make them just different enough to not be a total duplication.

I strive to use original combinations of fragrance notes that may seem unusual but when combined create unexpected beauty and harmony.
