How To beat the After Holiday Blues

I hate this time after the holidays especially in the Northeastern part of the US.  The weather is gloomy, cold, raw and often it's just too nasty outside to even get a walk in.

To me, this is a time to do special little things for yourself.  I love to take advantage of the cold weather to make time for a special bath night where I plan the scent of bubble bath that I'm going to use, the magazine or book to read, and the beverage to drink.

I often use my own bath gels (Water or Spirit) for the bubbles but sometimes use other perfume lines depending on the my mood.  

My favorite magazine choice is usually Vogue or W with a strong cup of black tea, or hot cider, yummy!

While I soak in the lovely hot steamy tub full of beautiful fragrance, the warmth of the water envelops me like a warm blanket and I think, "Why don't I do this for myself more often?  It's such a small inexpensive luxury that makes me feel so wonderful for the rest of the day"

So my tip for the day is, pamper yourself with a small extravagance like a hot bubble bath or shower and take care of your body and spirit.  The benefits pay off long after the bath is over, you'll feel renewed and sleep like a baby.
